Solo Sunday Solitude.

Ahhh~~ A late Sunday afternoon well spent roaming Marina Bay and Raffles Place :) I have been doing math the entire weekend just to catch up on some overdue homework... I was doing Transformation of Graphs halfway before realizing how "no-life" I was. Here's my weekly routine: Monday school to 3pm (earliest I am dismissed). Tuesday, 6pm because of compulsory PW consultation lessons where we just sit in computer lab and do PW shizz. Wednesday 8pm approx. because of CCA :'( Thursday 6pm and Friday 8pm (CCA). Entire weekday spent on being a lifeless JC student and I perpetuated this energy onto my weekends. Kinda stupid though... I don't want to make this two years of my life a total bore and not living it to the fullest by doing things that I enjoy.

Yup, I took an impromptu long break from work and headed out to somewhere I've always wanted to chill, Marina Bay! I don't know why but I've got a thing for high rise buildings clustered together near the waters. It makes me feel so damn relaxed! Just me, myself and I. Perfect scenario of being in solitude. Alone strolling through the city district and the quay, along with the breeze and the picturesque sights, simply amazing~ Visiting a beautiful place at my favourite time of the day (late afternoon to evening, duh, my blog name says it all), Oh My Oh My~ Plugged in my earpiece once I reached the destination and played Kodaline - One Day. You see, I always prepare awesome new songs when I explore new places because in the future, when I play the same song I listened to before, I'll be transported back to the exact same place in that beautiful memory :) Just a lil' thing about myself.

I don't know how to explain this but, the feeling of being in solitude and having some alone time is just about attaining a state of peace and calmness, it serenades my thoughts and heals my worn out spirit. I may be an extrovert, but even the extreme of extroverts needs some time by himself to pause the rapid pace of the world to take a lil' breather, before diving back in the pool of work with renewed energy. Life is like music - If it's played too quickly with no pauses and rests without changing speed and volume, the music loses its beauty, its emotions and its meaning. Sometimes, we need breaks for ourselves to maintain a healthy mind and body, and a happy life. That's most important!

Short 3hrs adventure, but sure did its magic! Gonna take offs like this more often! Ciao~
(P.S: The pics below predominantly consist of my narcissistic and shameless selfies :P)
