Evening Serenade: Beach Day at East Coast Park!

What's good, people? Back to the blog on popular demand. Hahaha actually I don't think many people will want to even visit my blog anyway. So this is for my readers and this is for memory documentation's sake. It's been a seriously long while since I've blog posted so pardon me if I'm not as expressive as I was previously. My blog's background and font colour is pretty stale.... I'll get that settled when I've got the time. Meanwhile, I'm actually 3/4 into my JC1 life. TIME LAPSE WOOHOO. Haha didn't really have the time to blog stuff since my schedule is packed. I'll update what's going on the past few months next time. Meanwhile, IT'S BEACH DAY Y'ALL!!

DAMN IT. Woke up with a freaking sore eye that hurts like pins and needles are pricking the underside of the eyelid. That shit started off my day making me all grouchy and irritable. If that isn't annoying enough, I woke up late, 30mins before meeting time with the Shit Group. Mum told me straight that she's cooking my lunch and had tone like, "YOU DON'T EAT THE FOOD I COOK. I'LL COOK YOU INTO THE FOOD." Was this close to being roasted in the oven when I accidentally mentioned that I'm eating out. Lucky that I held back my words. An hour late already, I thought I can set off the house BUT NOOOOO!! When I realized my OOTD was missing, it was too late. Mum freaking took and wash it. Man was I pissed. She asked if I wanted the new clothes washed I said nope, I'm wearing them later. Guess that meant YES PLEASE WASH IT AND MAKE IT SOAKING WET OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH. Running 2hrs late trying so hard to blow dry my OOTD with my sis's hair dryer. After 15mins, I be like, "FAK IT, I'M WEARING IT WET. ANYWAY IT JUST RAINED."

Finally met up with my peepo in the MRT. Initially, we wanted to cancel the beach outing since it was raining and mostly because... My eye was sore as shit. But we decided to go ahead as planned and see what happens. I'm damn glad we went planned!!

STEP FOOT AT EAST COAST PARK AFTER ETERNITY!! THE SMELL OF THE SEA.... THE BEAUTIFUL SIGHT OF THE BLUE SEA.... THE SOUNDS OF THE WAVE WASHING UP THE SHORE.... THE SEA BREEZE... OMG HEAVEN!!! Well, but here's the thing. Instead of dramatically running towards the beach in slow mo like, "DARLING!! I'VE FOUND YOU AT LAST!", we went like, "Eh, makan at Burger King first. On. Set. Let's go."

Settled my 2nd lunch with guilt because I got myself BK Singles BBQ Turkey Bacon meal... We rented our Ferraris from the bicycle shop and headed off. Damn!! It's been a long while since I've cycled! Still got the free hand cycling skill though HAHAHA! Super excited for an awesome day! The cycling kicked off with a BAM after we decided our direction to cycle solely by following a bunch of hot chicks. HAHA So many indirect calls made. "EH!! We go right because.... I like THAT side.". "YEAH YEAH OF COURSE RIGHT SIDE WOULD BE THE BEST!!" Hahaha everyone got the hint. The girls realized a bunch perverts are hot on their heels so they decided to U-turn and cycle somewhere else. 1st semi awkward moment of the day. Wait, more to come.

We laughed as we tried to overtake one another and crack jokes whilst cycling. Wanted to get couple bikes initially, maybe even family bikes. Imagine how could it would have been :) We were practically trying to gang up one another by engaging the diamond formation around one person. Douchebags blocking the lanes! OH! And it was freaking funny as we wanted to take photo of ourselves cycling but some of us aren't proficient with cycling single-handedly. We had to pass the phone all over the place like the baton during Olympics hahaha near-accident moments!

We decided to chill at the jetty and take some pics with the beautiful blue sky and sea. Just as we intend to take a group shot, a seriously beautiful Caucasian chick (around our age maybe) was cycling past us. Damn, I ran up to her and asked if she could help us take a group photo. I still remember her sweet yet cool voice saying, "Yeah, sure. No problem." After taking the photo, I went to get my phone back from her. At this very instant, freaking hobo Berlut saw a nip slip off my singlet and nonchalantly exclaimed, "Wow, nice nips." HOLY SHIT. BAD MOVE BERLUT. The girl thought he was referring to her as she turned around to see who said that. Awkward max! All of us beat the shit outta Berlut for embarrassing us and her, not literally. Damn it... Later on when we saw her again, she recognized us as the pervs and awkwardly look down as she walked away briskly.

We cycled to a beautiful and tranquil area that reminds me of Lith Habour in Maplestory. It's that picturesque! Chilled under the shelter blasting sick club music on the speaker before heading back to the shop.

After returning our bikes, we HIT THE BEACH!!! The sand was glistening gold under the rather friendly sun. Saw an L shaped tree that looks like it can be climbed and so I did it, after couple of failed muscle up attempts, I got up the tree! A couples sitting next to us was pointing at me, signaling for me to get off the tree. BUT I NEED A PIC OF THAT MOMENT FIRST!! Lucky that I've got my mirror-like sunglasses on, I can act like I'm oblivious to them. Hahaha.

Explored the segment of the beach and took photos that are pretty neat (Y'all can check them out below). It was pretty much the highlight for the day :)

Had our dinner at Aston's. Man, I'm going broke soon... Sorry Mum and Dad! Intended to watch The Faults In Our Stars at night because I heard the plot twist was pretty damn sad, but plan failed. In the end, we went to have supper at Marine Parade Mall Coffee Bean while some of them grabbed cups of IIao IIao frozen yoghurt which they claim was delicious as fak. I got myself Tiramisu and chilled on their sofa while enjoying life :) The ambience was awesome and the place was luxurious. I could fall asleep in such a comfortable cafe~ Cracked an awesome pun. "What's the national event that takes place annually when Andy takes a piss? ANDY PEE (NDP)!!!" HAHAHA I'm good at this.

One of the best days of the year spent with few of the best people I've met in my life so far! We should definitely go out like this more often!! HAPPY TIMES YEAH! Oh and.... NICE NIPS! HAHAHAHA
