I rushed to the nearest provision shop to get the damn light sticks and found out that they weren't selling them anymore... Got back home empty-handed and felt that I need to buy something for the chalet. Typical me, bought a pack of marshmallows to roast later in the evening. Checked the time and it's already 1pm! I'M MEETING JIA AN AT THE LRT STATION!! We are actually headign to meet my other homies at Paya Lebar for a LAN session before heading off to chalet. I rushed all the way to meet him and he ended up taking me all the way to Tampines, then U-turn and head to Paya Lebar. We could have save 20mins of our time if we just took the damn MRT!!
Once at Paya Lebar, we met up with Zhi Sheng (Jeez) and Jun Xun, who wore pretty casually, and then made our way to the LAN shop. Once, we entered the LAN shop, I can hear primary school kids inside yelling vulgarities at their friends or at the screen. Couldn't really see since it's totally dark, BAD FOR EYESIGHT!!
We paid $3 to play for 2 hours and that was pretty expensive. However Jeez said that other LAN shop charge $5 for 2 hours already. Man, who cares about the price? Let's get down to the entertainment! First time playing Blackshot with the pros and I'm feeling pretty awesome since I've managed to take them several times. Played L4D2 as well! Man, was I good at being a zombie or what? Think if there's a zombie apocalypse and apparently I'm the zombie, then there'll be no humans left soon. After a long time in that dark dwelling, we emerged to light and decided to head to the chalet.

When we reached Pasir Ris, I whipped out my iPhone 4S and tried navigating our way through the grass. While we were walking, we came by this playground that had swings and seesaw and slides and.... swings and.... swings... and... SWWIIINNNGGSS!! OMG OMG! Dude, no matter how old you get, you will never not get excited when you see available swings in the playground! (Except those kids who barge the swing to themselves... Makes you wanna GTA them off the swings!) Jun Xun tried to climb a tree but failed miserably. So as an expert tree-climber, I demonstrated my techniques to him with speed and dexterity.

I'm good at climbing trees! I think I'm... TREEMAN! |
It was like 6 plus, so we made our way straight to the chalet. On the way, we passed by Hai Sing Catholic School, and as the gutsiest of them all, I saw some students of that school and shouted, "HEY! I'M FROM HAI XING TOO! BUT THE GENUINE VERSION! THE MARIS STELLA VERSION!" The girls heard my nonsense and laughed abit too crazy. Pfft... Stop laughing at me... You bunch of pirated products.... Just kidding!
Once we reached the chalet at Coasta Resort, Jalan Loyang Besar at Downtown East, we saw a whole lot of them there preparing the BBQ pit already. Went into the cool air-conditioned chalet and saw my classmates playing mahjong, watching TV, playing chess and some even gambling on poker! Seeing everyone having fun just eased my heart :) Seeing everyone having something fun to do, I wanted to prove something to everyone. I wanted to prove that, an NCC cadet like me, CAN START A FIRE WITH LEAVES AND STICKS! I grabbed a bunch of fire-starting materials and tried my best to start a small fire. After wasting a whole box of matchsticks, there's a spark of hope! Literally.

Happiness was short-lived :( |
During the late evening, suddenly, we saw somebody walking right up to our chalet, somebody familiar.... MRS DE CRUZ!! OUR FORM TEACHER!! WOOTS! Damn happy to see her come! Savior for the day since she brought some of her home-made desserts to the chalet when everybody's failing at BBQ their own dinner! And guess what? She even brought her Xbox Kinect!! OMG! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Mrs Chan also came and brought whole lot of chocolates! Awesome~ We spent the whole night dancing and trying to beat each other's record! I challenged Mrs De Cruz to a bitchy dance and guess who's the bitchiest dancer? That's right! It's me!

Through the rest of the night, we played mahjong like it's our job. We changed shift over a duration of an hour or so. I tried to knock out, but that's abit tedious since it's a CHALET!! NOBODY FALLS ASLEEP IN A CHALET!! However after cracking jokes about Bernard becoming a butterfly and sucking... Urgh, never mind... Those jokes were really sick.... BLURGH!! At least I laughed myself to sleep :) Still can't believe how those peeps managed to play Kinect through midnight and not get tired!!

Mahjong peeps! |
Jeez and Jia An went to spend some twosome time together by watching "Skyfall" at E Hub, so we decided to meet up with them at the mall at 1.15am where we planned to have our supper. We were all hoping that the bowling alley's open so we could spend the midnight time 'wisely', but was sadly turned down by the "CLOSED" sign... We had supper at MacDonald before loitering around the mall and then head back to chalet. Once we went back the chalet, I decided to fall asleep on that messy bed and knock off till morning. During my sleep, I kept hearing screams from the horror movies that they were watching next door! Creeping me out bros!
Woke up with a dry mouth, sore throat and searing ulcer in my mouth! Sometimes, drinking pure water is still the best source of liquid after all! Head off to MacDonald again to have my breakfast and boy was I unhealthy! Went back to chalet and played last few rounds of Mahjong before cleaning up the place and booking out of the resort. Dayuumm!! So tired that I overslept on my bus ride home!
All in all, this chalet was awesome! The bonding between classmates and fun we had, memorable. Simply memorable :) I realised that, staying in a chalet is a test of sleep limits, if you managed to sleep at least 6 hours in a chalet, it's either you are a good sleeper, or you have wasted good time at a chalet :\ Once again, I thank all those who came to the chalet and making it a wonderful class experience! We shall it again next year! Peace~
